Established in 1966, North Staffordshire Engineering Group Training Association was formed in response to the Engineering Industry Training Board Levy/Grant scheme. This was introduced to ensure all companies in the engineering sector played their part in training activities.
Having supported the engineering industry for over 50 years, the Group holds charitable status and provides an apprenticeship service, commercial training and a health and safety service.
NSEG work with many local engineering companies throughout Staffordshire, Cheshire and Derbyshire and offer engineering apprenticeships from Level 2 through to Level 4 and have excellent success rates.
All their Assessors are fully qualified time served engineers with a wealth of industry knowledge.
YFT was established in November 2015. Axia have successfully been working in partnership with YFT since November 2015.
YFT have excellent success rates and offer apprenticeships at Level 2, Level 3 and Level 4 in selected occupational areas: Business Administration, Customer Service Team Leading, Management, Social Media and Information Communication Technology (ICT).
Newcastle under Lyme College and Stafford College Merged in November 2016. NSCG support Axia’s apprenticeship offer with the delivery of higher level apprenticeships at Level 4 upto Level 7 in the following occupational areas: Business Administration, Management, Accountancy and Engineering.
