Our Manufacturing Apprenticeship is ideally suited to those people who wish to pursue a career in manufacturing. It combines practical training with real on the job work experience in one of many various job roles. You'll spend time being trained by your employer and our qualified assessors on how to operate within a production environment, learning about quality, the production process and safety standards.

Intermediate Level Apprenticeships: Level 2 qualifications
Qualifications you will gain: Diploma in Performing Manufacturing Operations, Award in Industrial Awareness and Functional Skills maths and English (if required) all delivered in the workplace.
Ideally you should have a minimum of grade E in both maths and English. If you do not hold these minimum grades, you will be assessed on your ability to complete the programme and will undertake Functional Skills classes to improve your skills.

There is the Food and Drink industry, ceramics, printing, engineering and general manufacturing.
These qualifications are delivered entirely in the workplace and not in a college environment.
After gaining an apprenticeship in manufacturing, you could progress into technician and engineer roles. With experience you could become a team leader or manufacturing supervisor.

Candidates will receive an induction to assess their individual training needs and build the qualification to meet their specialist needs.
