ILM LEADER AND MANAGER AWARD

Designed for aspiring and current middle managers, this course builds confident leaders who drive team performance, lead change effectively and develop talent to achieve measurable results.

How it is delivered and time commitment

Delivered over 3.5 days including induction. Certificate programmes run as 3 x 1-day sessions every 3–4 weeks; Awards are delivered over 2 x 1-day sessions.

Learners have up to 9 months to complete assignments, with tutorial support, guided learning and access to Institute of Leadership resources.

Delivery is flexible (online, in-person or workplace). Expect 4-6 hours’ development time per week

How it is assessed

There are written assignments for each unit, demonstrating the application of leadership and management knowledge. Support and feedback is provided throughout.

On successful completion candidates gain: The ILM Level 5 Certificate in Leadership and Management, a nationallyrecognised qualification.

ILM Digital Credentials: Affiliate ship of the City and Guilds of London Institute (AfCGI).

How it is funded

This qualification can be:
