Facilities Services Operative - Level 2
This qualification is for Facilities Services Operatives with duties that include all, or some, of the following: securing the site, setting up rooms for events, assisting with cleaning, site emergency and evacuation procedures, porterage, carrying out minor maintenance repairs, reading energy meters and using 'intelligent BMS' to control heating and ventilation.
This apprenticeship can be delivered to existing Facilities Management Supervisors or Coordinators to develop skills, knowledge and understanding or those who are newly appointed to a Facilities Management position. Typical job roles for this programme include Facilities Management Supervisor/Coordinator, Assistant Facilities Manager, Facilities Management Administrator, Team Leader or trainee leader who undertake duties including solving day to day problems and ensuring the smooth running of facilities and services.
This apprenticeship can be delivered to existing or newly appointed Facilities Managers to develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours needed for the role. Typical job roles for this programme include Facilities Manager; Facilities Management (FM) Operations Manager; Estates Manager; FM Contract Manager or anyone who is employed in a senior role and responsible for the safe, secure and comfortable day-to-day working environment for properties, assets and services.
