Our warehousing Apprenticeship is ideally suited to those people who wish to pursue or develop a career in warehousing. It combines practical training with real on the job work experience in one of many varied job roles. You'll spent time being trained by your employer and our qualified assessors on how to operate within a warehousing environment, learning about quality, warehousing, storage, despatch process and safety standards.

Intermediate Level Apprenticeships: Level 2 qualifications
Qualifications you will gain: Certificate in Warehousing and Storage Skills, Employee Rights and Responsibilities and Functional Skills maths and English (if required) all delivered in the workplace.
Ideally you should have a minimum of grade E in both maths and English. If you do not hold these minimum grades, you will be assessed on your ability to complete the programme and will undertake Functional Skills classes to improve your skills.

There are many varied industries in which you could undertake your apprenticeship. There is warehousing, logistics, the Food and Drink industry, ceramics, printing, engineering and general manufacturing.
These qualifications are delivered entirely in the workplace and not in a college environment.
After gaining an Intermediate Apprenticeship in warehousing, you could progress to an Advanced Apprenticeship in warehousing or into technician and manufacturing roles. With experience you could become a team leader or supervisor.
Axia Solutions is an Ofsted Grade 1 training provider, ranked as outstanding by inspectors. Operating independently, it is a wholly owned subsidiary of Newcastle-under-Lyme College, delivering a range of vocational training programmes designed to meet the demands of individuals and employers.
You will receive an Induction and an Initial Assessment to determine your individual training needs.
The Warehousing Intermediate Level Apprenticeship Framework is made up of four components. To be successful, all four elements must be completed and achieved.
Practical and Technical Element: C&G Certificate in Warehousing & Storage Skills
